Paul Mescal and Sophie Wilde's journey to romance revealed

Paul Mescal is said to be romantically involved with Sophie Wilde after they were spotted sharing a kiss at a Chiltern House afterparty.

According to the Mirror, Mescal and the Australian actress initially formed a friendship last year after frequently encountering each other at various red-carpet events.

However, sources now claim that their bond has evolved into something more, with the pair allegedly into with each other.

A source informed the publication, Paul and Sophie have been enjoying each other's company and their friendship has seemingly transitioned into a romantic relationship.

In the early stages of their relationship, both are reportedly enthusiastic about the potential future of their romance.

Sources suggest that they have established a strong foundation and hold mutual respect for each other.

Before Sophie, Paul's most notable public relationship was with American singer Phoebe Bridgers.

The pair initially connected on Twitter in May 2020, following Mescal's rise to fame in the BBC adaptation of Normal People

Similarly, Sophie maintaining privacy regarding her personal relationships, openly expresses her fondness for romance.

She credits her upbringing, watching classic period films with her grandparents, for shaping her romantic outlook. 

Wilde disclosed, "I feel like growing up on period pieces has honestly warped my subconscious so that now I am a diehard romantic. 

I feel like there's so much power in love, and that's probably why I love period pieces."
