Princess Eugenie made an appearance at the inaugural F1 race of 2024 shortly after her absence from a royal memorial service.

Accompanied by her husband Jack Brooksbank and mother Sarah Ferguson, Eugenie travelled to Bahrain to witness the season's opening Grand Prix.

Captured in photographs, the Princess of York appeared joyful as she shared laughter with the Duchess of York during the race.g royal memorial service

Eugenie was a notable absentee at the late King of Greece's memorial service at St George's Chapel on Tuesday.

Sarah Ferguson attended the service alongside Eugenie's sister, Princess Beatrice.

Eugenie's father, Prince Andrew, also attended the service and was controversially seated in the front row at St George's Chapel.

The Duke of York was seated just five seats away from Queen Camilla, who was leading the Royal Family in the absence of King Charles at the service.

It is unclear why Eugenie and her husband James did not attend the event. The royal couple have two sons, August, three, and eight-month-old Ernest.
