A royal biographer has issued stern warning to Meghan Markle as the Duchess "made one key vow" about her new podcast.
The Duchess of Sussex delighted fans with a surprising announcement about her new partnership with Lemonada Media to launch her new podcast on the platform, following an unexpected end of her multi-million Spotify deal.
Amid speculations about the former Suits star's new partnership, a source told Us Weekly that the Duchess considers herself "too academic for entertainment only" and does not want the podcast to be "celebrity driven".
Royal biographer Angela Levin, on GB News, claimed: "We know the previous one [podcast] she did, she just talked about herself nonstop. Here too, if she’s going to give stories of her life so far I think it will be a terrible disadvantage. People don’t want to know the same thing again and again about her."
The royal author appeared admitting that the PR stance of the California-based couple has changed from being "victims" to having a more positive approach, saying: "The new one is all for being positive, be with the Royal Family, to show that you are very important."
The project is said to be part of the Sussexes' efforts to establish themselves as key players in Hollywood since stepping down from their institutional roles in 2020.
The source close to the Duchess claimed she will use her new project to do "some inner reflecting" and discuss aspects of her personal life with her guests. They added: "She wants to do mostly philanthropic-type content."
The new project was revealed after Omid Scobie, who penned Endgame last year, stated in his book that Meghan "never felt at home" in the UK. He wrote that Meghan "never wants to set foot again in England".
