Taylor Swift's fans can unearth anything as they dug up ten-year-old tweets of Travis Kelce, her current partner calling them clean and humorous and making them viral online.
Since 2009, Kelce has been active on his X account, which was formerly known as Twitter, reported Yahoo.
Over the course of the last fifteen years, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs has tweeted about a variety of topics, including squirrels, naps, and runs to Chipotle.
He has made a few spelling errors along the way, but at least he now has a wordsmith girlfriend by his side. Granted, TayTay hasn't referred to Kelce as her boyfriend just yet, but given their kiss during the Eras Tour and Kelce's response, we believe it's reasonable to presume that their relationship is official.
The most important lesson to be learned from these old tweets? The host of the New Heights podcast enjoys going on fast food runs. Naturally, Olive Garden, Taco Bell, and Chipotle decided to take advantage of it.
“Went from class to therapy, now I need some #chipolte and then I'm off to check out my new apt!!” Kelce wrote back in 2011. The official Chipotle account shared the tweet with their own message (referencing Swift’s track “Anti-Hero” in the process), which said, “It's me, hi.”
In addition to tweeting often about Chipotle, the tight end tweeted in 2009, saying, "I'm heading to Taco Bell!!!" then give it a go and see what's hot this evening. He shared a few years later, saying, "Up at Olive Garden with father! I had to get the Chicken Alfredo and Fettucini! ##shmackin (Don't worry, Travis—we also adore Olive Garden.)
Fans couldn't help but love just how wholesome and genuine all of Kelce’s old tweets were. One user wrote, “Travis Kelce is experiencing the most positive possible version of the internet digging up your tweets from 2011.” Another person posted, “Travis Kelce waking up to notifications on his 2011 tweets just to realize he’s not being cancelled but admired for his fascination with squirles.”
