Kelly Rowland opened up about her experience of meeting Meghan Markle after the two rubbed shoulders at Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour concert.
Speaking to HELLO!, the Destiny’s Child alum expressed how she thought the Duchess of Sussex was a wonderful woman and found that she has a lot in common.
"It was my first time meeting her," she recalled.
"It was just nice being there with other great women and being able to just simply talk."
Kelly continued to gush over Meghan as they have spent a lot of time in the public eye and are now mothers to two children each
"I don't know what people expect to see or to know, but she just felt very cool and very down to earth. She is very warm," she said.
The singer added that despite the Duchess of Sussex is no longer being part of the royal fold, she continued to exude royalty.
"She was royal before she was in that family."
"I think that we are royalty before anything. And we have to hold ourselves in that regard as humans, as people."
