Oops, Britney Spears did it again and committed another traffic violation in the span of two months.
As the release date for her highly anticipated bombshell memoir, The Woman in Me, approaches, the international pop icon was pulled over by cops for making an improper turn.
Documents obtained by TMZ revealed that the California Highway Patrol slapped the Toxic songstress, 41, with a $327 fine for crossing over double lines.
The fine was reportedly due on November 21.
This is the second time the Grammy-winning musician has been pulled over by CHP this year, the last time being merely a month ago, per TMZ.
Law enforcement sources told the outlet that Spears was pulled over for speeding in her white Mercedes, and subsequently cited for two misdemeanors: Driving without a valid license and without proof of insurance.
She was then issued a fine of $1,140, which she had apparently paid off since.
Though the Baby One More Time singer hasn’t commented on her most recent run-in with the law, her attorney, Mathew Rosengart, told Page Six at the time that “Britney at all times had a license and insurance; this is the functional equivalent of a parking ticket.”
Now, Spears had an “appearance” and “due date” set for October 24, the same day her memoir hits the shelves, but she can clear her outstanding balance online, per the outlet.
Notably, Spears only recently got her driving privileges back in 2021, just a few months before her contentious conservatorship came to an end.
