Recently, Abhishek Bachchan, in an interview, spoke up about the possibility of Dhoom 4.
In an interview, Abhishek expressed his wish to do an action film again after doing experimental roles in Dasvi and Bob Biswas. While speaking his heart out, he also opened up about the chances of another Dhoom sequel.
The Housefull 3 actor told India Today: "I would love [to do an action film]. It just so happened, the last two years were so busy. I have made like 5-6 movies in the last two years."
When asked about Dhoom 4 in the interview, Abhishek revealed that so far there has been nothing of that sort. If Aditya Chopra had planned something over it, he would have told him. The actor neither confirmed nor denied about the new film.
"Not that I know of. If ‘Dhoom 4’ was being made, Adi [Chopra] would have told us. I can’t confirm or deny it but I am pretty sure I would have been told if he is making one", he stated.
In the beginning of 2023, soon after the success of Pathaan, there were rumours that Yash Raj Films had planned on reviving the Dhoom franchise with Akshay Kumar playing the lead and John Abraham playing a villain. But, YRF dashed down all the rumours, reports India Today.
With Abhishek Bachchan's statement, it can be confirmed that nothing is happening anytime soon.
