Britney Spears’ mother Lynne 'thrilled' after reconnecting with singer

Lynne Spears is on cloud nine after reconnecting with Britney Spears after almost three years, revealed an insider. 

As reported by Radar Online, Lynne is “thrilled” to be back in her popstar daughter’s life and would do anything so that their relationship only goes in the “positive direction.”

"Lynne is thrilled to be back on good terms with Britney. She's working overtime to rebuild trust between them and move forward in a positive direction," a source told the publication.

The source noted that Lynne’s recent meetup with the Toxic singer has left her hopeful that she will gain her trust again and would also make fix her strained bond with sister Jamie Lynn.

Recently, a source spilt to Us Weekly that Britney had no idea that her mother was coming to visit her because her team hid the news from her till the very last moment.

According to the publication, the Hold Me Closer hitmaker’s team was afraid she would say no and will not meet her estranged mother.

Confirming her reunion with Lynne, Britney dropped an Instagram post that she met her mom after three years and almost a year and a half after her conservatorship termination.

"My sweet mama showed up at my door step yesterday after 3 years… it’s been such a long time… with family there’s always things that need to be worked out… but time heals all wounds !!!" Britney wrote.

"And after being able to communicate what I’ve held in for an extremely long time, I feel so blessed we were able to try to make things RIGHT!!!

“I love you so much!!! Psss… I’m so blessed we can have coffee together after 14 years!!! Let’s go shopping afterwards !!!" she added.
