Lewis Hamilton reportedly sets his sights back on Shakira as he plans romantic trip

Lewis Hamilton, who was recently rumored to be dating a Brazilian model, has reportedly turned his attention back to Shakira.

The two are said to be planning a romantic holiday in the Caribbean, which has fueled speculation about their relationship.

Spanish journalist Jordi Martin, who claims to be friends with the Te Felicito hitmaker, has revealed that the two will be going on the vacation together, sparking rumors about their dating status.

He said: "Hamilton and Shakira are planning to go on holiday together and I already know the destination."

"It's a Caribbean country, a short trip of about an hour. I have people who are close to Shakira and they have been meeting this week and she has told them that she is excited and happy."

Jordi Martin also stated that despite the rumors, Shakira and Lewis Hamilton are taking things slow in their relationship. However, a source told MailOnline that Martin's claims were untrue.

The source clarified that Shakira and Lewis are just friends and have not made any plans for a trip together.

In May, Shakira ran into Lewis Hamilton while dining out in Miami. This occurred amidst rumors that the newly single singer has also drawn the attention of Tom Cruise.

Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, the South American singer, ended her relationship with her longtime partner, Piqué, last summer.
