MANSEHRA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) head Imran Khan paid a surprise visit to a mountainous village of Kohistan on Tuesday and asked locals to protect nature in native district for better future of the coming generations.
“I visit here just to expose Kohistan’ untouched attractions to local and foreign tourists. The time is not far away when you would earn the profit for preserving your natural assets,” he told a gathering of local people at Shahreed Barseer, a mountainous area of Palas tehsil of the Kohistan district. He told the gathering that provincial government would promote tourism in Kohistan, which was also a guarantee of better future of their generations.
The PTI chief declared Shahreed Barseer as nation park. Later, Imran Khan visited residence of Abdul Haq, the advisor to the chief minister, in Pattan where local people apprised him of their problems.
