Husain Haqqani to leave Pakistan tonight
Updated 4 weeks ago
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s former ambassador to the US Husain Haqqani will be traveling to Abu Dhabi then to the US via a private airline.
According to sources, Haqqani will be taken to the airport with a security escort provided by the Islamabad police.
On Monday, the Supreme Court lifted travel restrictions on Haqqani under the condition that he appear before the memo commission whenever summoned and should do so within four days of the notice.

Sam, this is dilemma of poor countries by rich & influential countries who buy their people (by luring: award of nationality, free visas, education, money) & get their desired works on those countries which remains an assault morally/ legally & an attempt to alter national fiber unethically.

Off course that was not a country he belongs even on his birth anyway, some people are made to live double life without trust, even in US he is going to be under surveillance that he might double cross them as well for some more benefits from some one else.

Get the tail number of the private jet and find out who is paying for private flight that costs several hundred thousand dollars. Any journalist willing to get to the bottom of memo and tail haqqani? For once someone get to the truth. By the way things are zardari, mush, altaf, mullah diesel, other mullas, Nawaz and tola's are all jannatis and innocent like razia! Media should accept slow death of spirit of Pakistani people and stop giving hope or have real search for truth or justice!

Now that the PPP govt and the army have made a temporary peace, the supreme court decides to let him travel overseas. The courts should never have acted as a proxy for the army particularly because that institution openly flouts the law.

I had some respect and sympathy for Haqqani but no more, thinking of his blind support for the PPP. More Balochs have been dislocated, exiled, arrested, tortured and ruthlessly killed, more Baloch human-political-constitutional rights have been violated, during the ZAB & Zardari rule than in any other time.

Well if Nawaz can leave the country after deal with Musharaf, if Zardari can leave on medical conditions and stay out of courts by submitting medical certificates and Musharaf can be let go with a gaurd of honor despite of clear constituitional violations, why not this guy he is only a pawn.Unless we deal with the Zardari's,Sharifs and company we will continue to have Memo cases and alike.
