Five people including an aged woman were killed in different incidents on Monday.
Mirza Sohail Baig, 25, was knocked down to death, and his brothers Raheem Baig and Abdul Rehman Baig were injured, when a speeding dumper ran over their motorcycle near Landhi in Sharafi Goth police remits.
In Gulshan-e-Iqbal, an unidentified man, said to in his 30s, was killed when a vehicle crashed into his motorcycle near the Nipa Bridge.
Naseem Akhter, 60, and her son Siraj Baig, 40, were critically injured when their motorcycle veered out of control on University Road in Aziz Bhatti police jurisdiction, while they were heading towards their residence. The injured were rushed to a private hospital, where during treatment they breathed their last.
Man falls to death
In Clifton, 25-year-old Shamshed died after falling off the rooftop of the Gulf Shopping Centre.
