A spokesperson for K-Electric said on Tuesday that the electricity production supply from Karachi Nuclear Power Plant (Kanupp) had been restored.
It was announced by the power utility a day earlier that even areas of the city that were previously exempt from loadshedding would be affected as Kanupp, which provides between 70MW to 80MW to KE, had been shut due to technical problems.
However, in a statement on Tuesday, KE clarified that there will be no suspension of electricity in the exempted areas.
