Three people were killed while two others were injured in separate incidents on Thursday.
An unidentified boy, appearing to be 17 years old, was killed while Muhammad Iqbal, 68, and Jalal, 15, were injured when their motorcycles collided near Korangi.
Twenty-four-year-old Imran died after he accidentally fell off an under-construction building near Beach View Club, while working.
Eighteen-year-old Muhammad Ali, son of Saeed Zia, drowned in the sea within the jurisdiction of the Darakshan police station.
His body was later recovered and shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for post-mortem examination.
According to police officials the deceased was a resident of Lyari and had come to the beach along with his friends.
Body recovered
A strangulated body of an unidentified man, appearing to be around 35 years of age, was found in Old Golimar, within the jurisdiction of the Pak Colony police station on Thursday.
His body was shifted to the Civil Hospital for completion of medico-legal formalities.
According to the medico-legal officer the body bore several torture marks.
According to police, the deceased was first kidnapped by unidentified people and then killed in an unknown place; the killers later threw the body in their area.
