Nadra employees protest for regularisation of jobs

The city employees of National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) staged a demonstration here at the press club on Thursday to press their demand for regularisation of their services.
The protest was continuation of a hunger strike being observed in Islamabad by Nadra staff stationed there.
The general secretary of the Nadra employees union said that the employees have not been regularised for last 15 years.
He said the authority chairman had promised them a month back of yearly raise in the salaries and bonuses, adding that the promises have not been fulfilled and besides “We have been facing another issue of transfers and postings.” The Nadra employees will announce their next line of action on Friday.
