The Awami National Party (ANP) on Monday announced to commemorate the second death anniversary of its senior member Sadiq Zaman Khattak on May 3.
Khattak, who was party candidate from NA-254, Korangi, was killed along with his six-year-old son, Aimal Zaman, in an attack by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Bilal Colony ahead of the May 2013 general elections.
“The ANP is the only party which sacrificed the lives of its workers and leaders in the war against terrorism,” said President ANP Korangi district Noor Sher Khan while presiding over a party meeting held at Natha Khan Goth.
