Grand display of fireworks at Pakistan’s tallest building
Display of light and colour engulfs 62-floor Bahria Icon Karachi; thousands of people attend ceremony
KARACHI: A grand fireworks display was performed at the under-construction, 62-floor-tall Bahria Icon Karachi building yesterday.
Thousands of Karachiites attended the ceremony and hugely enjoyed it. Keenly anticipating the fireworks display right from the morning, the people of Karachi started converging in large groups in the vicinity of the building. The fireworks display started at 11.30pm and continued past the midnight.
The booking process for the Bahria Icon Karachi began last week, and just in two days’ time, the entire apartments tower was fully booked after which, on the demand of the people, more apartments were added to the main tower. The booking process at the Bahria Icon is being termed as the most successful booking in the history of the high-rise buildings in the country.
