Children of female inmates of the Karachi Central Jail were taken on a visit to the zoo by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), on Tuesday.
As per the KMC’s statement, the trip was arranged for by IG Prison Nusrat Hussain Mangan.
The children were welcomed by Karachi Zoo director Muhammad Fahim Khan and the staff.
The children visited various sections of the zoo, enjoyed rides and were also seen feeding animals.
