Ex-nazim says rivals damaged his crop

CHITRAL: A former member of the district council and others on Wednesday alleged that their rivals attacked them and damaged their crops.
Speaking at a press conference, ex-nazim Mohammad Hussain, Shah Wali, Jalaluddin Khan and Sikandar Wali Khan said that Haji Fayyaz and his son Ilyas Ahmad hired goons to attack them.
They said that the accused also damaged their potato crop in Gobor Gharmao.
Mohammad Hussain said that they had a property dispute with Haji Fayyaz and a local court was hearing the case. He said they were peace-loving people and wanted the peaceful resolution of the issue. He alleged that the police also sided with the accused, demanding a probe into the incident.
