Caution kills Covid-19

The nation needs to be aware of the new wave of Covid-19, which is even worse than the previous three waves. The Delta variant is not sparing even those who are fully vaccinated. There is no doubt that vaccines will surely boost our immune system, but it is important to take precautionary measures to remain protected against the virus. Throughout Pakistan, especially in Karachi, hospitals are getting overcrowded with critically ill Covid-19 patients. It’s sad to witness that many people are still believing in myths. Recently, I visited a medical store in Karachi and was surprised to see that only a few people were wearing face masks. It is our social responsibility to follow SOPs and play our part in containing the spread of the virus. The consequences of our carelessness will be too dangerous.
