Recently, my father contracted Covid-19 and was admitted to the hospital. There, I was able to witness the amount of effort being put by young doctors and paramedic staff to ensure that the oxygen saturation levels of their critical patients were maintained at healthy levels.
I was on a floor which had 12 rooms – all of which were filled with critical patients. The staff there ensured that their patients remained stable. Be it 3pm or 3am, they kept performing their duties efficiently. Frontline health workers should be lauded for working relentlessly to keep Covid-19 patients in good health.
