Save the hills
The rapid development in and around Murree Hills and Nathiagali is concerning. Pakistan is blessed with beautiful hill stations, but, unfortunately, PM Imran Khan has allowed massive development in these areas. On the one hand, the PM has launched a project to plant a billion trees, and on the other hand, with all the development going on, centuries-old trees are being cut, and hills are being destroyed. During the tenure of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, there was a ban on construction in the hills, which was a wise decision to preserve the beautiful mountains.
I request the PM and all the authorities to please look into this matter and save the hills. Keep it as it is for people to enjoy it. My heart sinks every time I go there and see hundreds of trees being cut.
