Chris Pratt broke a sad news regarding 'Jurassic World' set

The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' star recently revealed that one of the filming sets of the franchise was destroyed during severe storms in Hawaii in March.

Pratt, who portrayed the role of a velociraptor trainer, Owen Grady, in the sci-fi films, revealed the sad update to Entertainment Weekly in an interview, while recalling one of the moments from the set.

When the actor was shown a picture of himself cycling a motorcycle on the Jurassic World set, he said, “Can I tell you something about this?”

He continued, “I just got a text from my friend who lives on this ranch, Jason Morgan, and a storm came in yesterday and this tree fell down on top of this [Owen’s bungalow]. That was destroyed yesterday.”

The set, which was located at Kualoa Ranch on Oʻahu, has served as a major filming location for the dinosaur films' first installment and its sequel, 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.'

Jason Morgan, the president and sixth-generation owner of the ranch, reportedly informed Pratt about the damage caused by the storm.

Pratt expressed his remorse while looking at the photo and said, “Sorry, Jason.”

This came after Aquaman star, Jason Momoa, also revealed he and his familt affected by the storm that hit Oʻahu in March.

Mamoa shared on his social media at the tome “We got out of the North Shore... our power went off... We're safe for now, but there's a lot of people who weren't, so we’re sending all our love.”
