King Charles breaks silence on Trump claim about UK government
King Charles rubbishes Donald Trump’s latest claim about war in Iran
King Charles has seemingly given a swift response to Donald Trump over his latest claim on the war.
His Majesty has snubbed Trump’s statement that he would have acted differently than UK PM Kier Starmer’s response to Iran war.
Trump told The Telegraph he believes the monarch would "have taken a very different stand" on the conflict than the UK Government.
He went on to describe the King as a "wonderful and brave man" who has "been through a lot"
In a response to all the claims, a Buckingham Palace source told the Daily Beast, "The King is above politics."
Speaking about his His Majesty’s state visit to the US could be beneficial, expert Samara Gill speaks on the Sun’s Royal Exclusive show : “I mean, this will be his most important task to date as the King.
“I mean, we’ve got the world on a knife’s edge at the moment, sort of teetering on World War Three,” she adds.
“I’m not trying to be over dramatic here. But yes, Trump is unpredictable… the king is pretty much the only person that he actually listens to.
“If you think about it, he listens to no one, Trump… The King is going to have to do diplomatic gymnastics here in order to pull something off,” she notes.
