Judge Lewis J. Liman tossed out 10 of Lively's 13 claims and ruled on Baldoni’s bid to end the case before it goes to trial.

However, according to the ruling by Judge Liman, the court has allowed Lively to pursue a certain set of allegations, including retaliation-related claims and breach of contract, to move forward to trial.

The written ruling came after Lively filed the case in December 2024, alleging Baldoni of sexual harassment among over a dozen claims.

Baldoni and production company Wayfarer Studios later counter-sued her and her husband, Ryan Reynolds accusing them of defamation and extortion.

However court dismissed Baldoni’s case in June 2025.

Lively and Baldoni's trial was set to begin in New York on May 18.
