Families demand missing persons recovery
PESHAWAR: Family members of the missing persons from the Mohmand tribal district staged a protest rally outside the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly demanding the release of the loved ones.
The protest was organized by the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) Mohmand chapter. The protesters were chanting slogans against enforced disappearances and demanded the release of the missing persons. The relatives of the missing persons, including women, were holding placards with information about their loved ones.
Member Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Mir Kalam Wazir also participated in the protest rally. Speaking to the protesters, Mir Kalam Wazir said since its emergence the PTM, had been demanding restoration of peace and production of missing persons in the courts.
