JHANG: SNGPL former district in-charge Ch Mehboob died after remaining unattended for half an hour at the DHQ Hospital on Wednesday. The family shifted Ch Mehboob to the hospital when he felt severe chest pain. The family members repeatedly called a doctor for emergency treatment but he did not come. Consequently, the patient died unattended at the hospital. When contacted, DHQ Hospital MS Dr Mumtaz Khan said that as per approved SOPs, specialist doctors always on call for emergency duty.
