CIA police busts house robber; recovers stolen bikes & valuables
Islamabad: Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad Police has nabbed a wanted member of thief gang and recovered four stolen bikes, 11 mobile phones, LCDs, stolen valuables and weapon from him, police spokesman said.
According to details, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan ordered crackdown against criminals including those involved in house burglaries. Following these orders, DIG (Operations) Waqar-Ud-Din Syed had directed all zonal officers to accelerate their efforts to curb the crime in the city.
Following these directions, SP (investigation) Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanveer constituted special team under supervision of DSP CIA Hakim Khan including Assistant - Sub-Inspectors Safder Hussain Gondal, Fayyaz Ahmed and others. This team nabbed wanted member of theif ’ gang which was involved in house burglaries, bike lifting.
He has been identified as Zeshan alias Shani resident of Mara Akoo Golra Sharif. Police team also recovered four stolen bikes, 11 mobile phones, 7 LCDs, valuables and weapons from him.
