PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information Shaukat Yousafzai has said that Pakistan will play a pivotal role in ending the US-Iran conflict.

He feared that the US-Iran war will not be an ordinary war and it will affect the whole region. “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan no one can ask Pakistan to do more,” he said in a handout.

Shaukat said that our region has been the victim of terrorism for almost 15 years due to which the schools were also badly damaged and now construction of many schools will be completed by June this year which will also increase the enrollment in schools.

The minister said that the government will also give Rs1000 to each student in the school. He said that the problems of the nursing staff will be resolved to provide the best medical care to the patients. He was speaking to the media at Nishtar Hall in Peshawar and addressing the All KP Nursing Convention.

The provincial minister said that it is very important for every patient to have a specialized nursing staff because nursing staff spent more time with the patient than doctors. The behaviour and good attitude of the nursing staff make a patient satisfy, he added. The duty hours of the nurses are long and their resources are little, he said, adding that the issues being faced by the nursing staff will be resolved to improve the services and condition of hospitals.

“The performance of the nursing staff on the existing resources is unmatched,” he added. Shaukat said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) got the government in worst-ever financial crises because PPP and PML-N had borrowed Rs24,000 billion and his government had to pay it back for which Imran Khan visited friendly countries and got help from them.

He said that exports have increased by 32 percent due to the efforts of Prime Minister Imran Khan and the value of the rupee has stabilized.

The minister said that since June last year, the government has not taken a rupee loan from the State Bank of Pakistan. Pakistan’s economy is growing, he said, adding that people’s confidence in investing in Pakistan has increased and investors were coming to the country. He said that the expansion in the provincial cabinet was done thoughtfully and the performance of every minister was being checked. At the end, the provincial minister distributed shields among the Youth Nursing Association representatives.
