Our culture doesn’t allow using daughters to launder money: PTI
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central leader Khusro Bakhtiar says eastern culture and traditions don’t allow fathers to launder money in the name of their daughters.
In a statement on Thursday, he said in order to hide his corruption, PML-N Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif brought his daughter Maryam in the court and was accusing the institutions. He said Maryam was herself terming the statements of father unreliable. He said Nawaz himself was responsible for bringing his daughter in the court. Senator Sarwar Chaudhry said it was the first time in the country’s 70-year history that the ruling class was being held accountable and this process should be encouraged.
He said those who looted the country and transferred money abroad will have to face accountability now.
