Army, Sindh, HEC and Punjab book slots in semis

KARACHI: Army, Sindh, Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Punjab blasted their way into the semi-finals of the 15th National Women Netball Championship at the PSB Coaching Centre in Islamabad on Sunday.
Army outgunned HEC and WAPDA 26-20 and 23-13, respectively, to make it to the last four stage.
Sindh overwhelmed Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Punjab, while HEC edged WAPDA. Punjab defeated Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. WAPDA beat Islamabad and KP overpowered FATA.
Consul General of the Australian High Commission Marzio Da Re and his wife Lisa James also witnessed Army-WAPDA clash.
A Chinese media delegation also visited the venue. In the semi-finals on Monday (today) Sindh will face HEC while Army lock horns with Punjab.
