Hina Khar, family members booked for forgery
MUZAFFARGARH: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Tuesday booked former foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar and other family members in a forgery case filed by her stepbrother. The other nominated persons are Hina's sisters Anila Rabbani, Khadija Rabbani, Naeema and Nadia Rabbani, brother Malik Raza Rabbani, mother Sumaira Abdullah and father MNA Malik Ghulam Muhammad Noor Rabbani Khar. The case was also instituted against Mushtaq Mehboob Leghari, Ghulam Hussain, Rahim Bakhsh, Atta Hussain Kalera, Ghulam Yasin, Noor M Khund, Sikandar Khan, Muhammad Essa, Muhammad Yousaf, Asghar Ali Qureshi as Ghulam Ali, Rahim Bakhsh, Karim Bakhsh, M Amin, Elahi Bakhsh, Sikandar Khan, Saifullah, Abdul Rehman and Qadir Bakhsh who are the Land Revenue Department officials. However, no arrest was made till this report was filed. Hina’s stepbrother Malik Abdul Khaliq Rabbani Khar had filed a fraud and forgery case against 25 people, alleging that the accused illegally transferred family property for which a complaint had already been filed at the ACE. After an initial investigation, a fraud case was registered against the accused. The petitioner said Malik Noor Rabbani Khar had separated from his mother Zaibunnisa and married to Sumaira Abdullah after which he transferred 1,535 kanals and 13 marlas of land to his new wife and other children by using political.
