Islamabad : The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan's (DRAP) Licensing Board cancelled the licence of a pharmaceutical company, Everest, for manufacturing unregistered medicines.

The development comes after the sealing of the company's factory in Islamabad and arrest of its owner on the SC's orders. DRAP chief Sheikh Akhtar had told the court that the company and its owner were involved in the import of raw material through illegal means, making of unregistered medicines, and selling sex inducing products over the Internet.
