Hailee Steinfeld details preparations ahead of welcoming first kid with Josh Allen

Hailee Steinfeld is revealing what she’s doing to prepare to welcome her first kid.

In a blog post titled "Getting ducks in a row" for her Substack Beau Society, the Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse star wrote that it recently hit her "little family is about to grow."

"Of course, I have all the to-do lists (which you know I love), and I've been busy with research and the general life reorganization that happens when you're about to have a baby," Steinfeld wrote.

"But the most profound and grounding part of getting ready for this baby has been the introspective side of it: the quiet conversations I'm having with myself almost every day," she added.

"While tuning in, I've experienced this surreal, full-body awareness that our world is about to expand in beautiful ways. We're getting ready to meet someone we already love so much," she said.

"I've racked my brain for words to describe that feeling, and I don't have them yet. Maybe that's the point. For now, I'm blessed to be settling into the feeling," she gushed.

The Sinners actress has prepared the nursery and enjoyed the process.

"I've gone back and forth on tiny details more than I care to admit (why is choosing a rocking chair this emotional?) but seeing it all slowly come together has made our new life feel more tangible," the star wrote. "Emphasis on 'slowly' coming together — it's all still very much a work in progress."

Hailee Steinfeld and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen began dating in early 2023 and got engaged in November 2024. They tied the knot on May 31, 2025, in a private California ceremony.
