Chris Hemsworth gets candid about daughter’s drawings that inspired several of his tattoos

Chris Hemsworth has revealed that several of his tattoos were inspired by artwork created by his 13-year-old daughter, India, and one nearly removed design was saved at her request.
The Thor star made the admission on the SmartLess podcast with Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes. The conversation began as he revealed that he sometimes grows “sick” of his tattoos.
He recalled how he had begun laser removal on a design based on Oh, the Places You'll Go!, a story he used to read to India that his own mother once read to him.
After noticing the ink fading, his daughter questioned what had happened and told him she loved the tattoo, which prompted him to stop the removal process. The design now remains partially faded but intact.
Hemsworth also shared that other small drawings on his arm were created spontaneously by India during a late-night tattoo session. The actor said his tattoo artist suggested her sketches were more meaningful than the original concepts being designed and lead him to permanently ink her artwork.
