Six arrested, 9,500 litres of Iranian diesel seized

KARACHI: Authorities rounded up six culprits Saturday night following various search operations in the metropolis, Geo News reported. Three criminals were arrested following a raid in Surjani Town, Orangi Town SP Abid Ali Baloch said, adding that they were identified as Ashraf, Abdullah and Alam Khan. The police official said contraband, weapons as well as 9,500 litres of Iranian diesel were recovered from them. On the other hand, three other were detained after an operation in Orangi Town’s Pirabad area, Baloch said, adding that the criminals were involved in street crime. Meanwhile, one person was injured in a firing incident in Shah Faisal Colony, Rescue sources stated.
