Ali Mooraj wins Multi-minds Open singles title

KARACHI: Singapore-based Ali Mooraj won the men’s singles title of Multi-minds Open Tennis Championship at Creek Club here on Sunday. He defeated Nameer Shamsi in the final to clinch the title. Chief guest Asma Shah gave trophies and Rs50,000 in prizes to the winners and runners up of various events.
Multi-minds of the UAE was the sponsor of this week-long championship. Khalid Rehmani of Sindh Tennis Association informed the gathering that STA in collaboration with Punjab Tennis Association would hold a 12-day coaching camp for juniors. Former Davis Cup captain Rashid Malik will visit Karachi for the camp.
