PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has decided to introduce the subject of political ethics in the syllabus of educational institutions of the province.It has decided to set up a Parliamentary Studies Department in the Peshawar University in order to impart political studies to the people who join the political field afresh.
Minister for Information Mushtaq Ghani said that it was the first time that this step was being taken in the country and the credit went to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government as no other province had started such political courses under government supervision. Besides the university teachers, political experts will also teach this subject at the university.
Mushtaq Ghani said that one-year diploma in parliamentary studies would be started very soon in which political tactics would be taught to those who joined the political field afresh and they would be told about the constitutional responsibilities of the assembly and how it was run and about political ethics.
