PTI youth wing revolts against Jehangir Tareen
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Youth Wing on Sunday announced a revolt against the party’s Secretary General Jehangir Tareen and said it would start a countrywide campaign against the leader, reported Geo News on Sunday.
The Youth Wing refused to accept Jehangir Tareen’s decisions in the past. The wing has reportedly printed protest banners and posters to display them against Jehangir Tareen during the Riawind protest march.
The party’s Labour Wing has already declined to accept decisions of Jehangir Tareen. The PTI spokesman said that the reaction to dissolving wings of PTI was the result of misunderstanding and these wings had been transferred to lower level administratively instead of dissolving them.
It was said in a declaration issued by Central Media Department of PTI, that Chairman Imran Khan had heard point of views of representatives of youth and labour wings in detail and would take decision for the future of party wings.
Earlier, PTI Additional General Secretary Saifullah Niazi resigned from his post due to differences with Jehangir Tareen. It seems that there exist a lot of internal troubles and complications within the PTI.
