KARACHI: Renowned singer Rahat Ali Khan says our artists and producers don’t lag behind anyone and they are eulogized and recognized everywhere. He said ‘Hala Gula’ was a different film full of entertainment.
He expressed these views during a press briefing held here in connection with the ‘Hala Gula.’
Khan said the movie could be watched with family. “Personally, I don’t watch movies, but I will watch it with my family.”
Rahat said supporting films and cinema industry was a national obligation and responsibility. The artist said he had also sung a song for the Hala Gula. He said the Pakistan film industry had also supported and protected the music industry.
“Our artists and singers enjoy a different place in the field of music and singing. Our youths are making good films which have contributed a lot towards overcoming the local film industry crisis. I am proud of being a Pakistani and Pakistan is my identification.”
Director ‘Hala Gula’ Kamran Akbar Khan said he had brought young capable artists against the star system who had performed beyond expectations.
He said Javed Sheikh and Ismail Tara were also playing their lively roles in the movie. Akbar Khan said he had cast new talent with full confidence in a big movie so that new good artists could be introduced in future.
Renowned film maker Amjad Rasheed, actress Sidra Batool, Munib Butt, artist and singer Afshan, Ghazala Javed and others also spoke on the occasion and praised the movie that would be released on Eidul Azha.
