PM likely to announce Fata reforms on Sept 6

LANDIKOTAL: Member National Assembly Shah Jee Gul Afridi has said that work on Fata reforms has been completed and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is expected to announce it on September 6. Addressing a press conference at the Landikotal Press Club on Saturday, he said the Fata reforms committee had completed its task given to them by the prime minister. The parliamentarian said the Pakistani government wanted cordial relations with Afghanistan. “We are in favour of friendly ties with the Afghan refugees and give respect to them as we have been giving them space for the last 40 years,” he said.
