Sazgar launches locally assembled PHEV HAVAL H6
KARACHI: Sazgar Engineering Works Limited has launched its first locally assembled plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), the HAVAL H6 Hi4 1.5L AT AWD Turbo, the company announced in a statement to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Monday.
The company officially opened pre-bookings for the vehicle on July 28, revealing that the first batch of completely knocked down (CKD) models will roll out in August 2025. This move marks a significant milestone for the local auto industry, combining powerful performance and improved fuel efficiency with advanced plug-in hybrid technology.
Sazgar’s announcement further detailed plans to introduce two more PHEV models -- the TANK-500 Hi4-T 4X4 SUV and the CANNON ALPHA Hi4-T 4X4 pickup truck -- both scheduled for rollout by March 2026.
