QUETTA: A roadside bomb blast targeted a vehicle in the Kech district of Balochistan on Eid day, killing a close relative of Provincial Minister Zahoor Buledi along with his son, while two others were injured.
Muhammad Amin, a close relative of Provincial Minister Zahoor Buledi, was on his way to offer Eid prayers with his sons and others when their vehicle was struck by a roadside bomb. As a result, Muhammad Amin and his son Naveed Amin were killed, while Muhammad Amin’s younger son Hafiz Irshad and another person were injured.
Following the incident, security forces arrived at the scene, shifted the bodies and the injured to the hospital, and began collecting evidence and searching for the attackers. It is worth mentioning that a few years ago, Muhammad Amin’s younger brother Abdul Salam was also killed in an armed attack.
Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, expressed his condolences over the killing of Muhammad Amin and his son Naveed Amin in the attack. In a statement, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed deep sorrow and sympathy over the tragic incident, saying that in this time of grief, he and the entire PPP stand with Zahoor Buledi and the bereaved family. Bilawal also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and for the departed souls.
