Gold rates rise Rs1,000 per tola

KARACHI: Gold prices increased by Rs1,000 per tola on Tuesday in the local market following an increase in the international market. The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association said that gold rates reached Rs354,100 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs857 to Rs303,583.Gold rates increased by $10 to $3,357 per ounce in the international market. Typically, gold prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.Silver rates increased by Rs130 to Rs3,586 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also rose by Rs112 to Rs3,074.
