Regional drama festival continues at PCA
Rawalpindi:On the special instructions of Minister of Information and Culture Punjab Ms. Azma Bukhari, the “Regional Drama Festival” will be held from May 24 at Punjab Council of Arts Cricket Stadium, Road Rawalpindi.
It is to provide equal employment opportunities and to provide people with quality clean entertainment. The festival starts daily at 8:00 pm, with a new play performing daily with a new story in which renowned artists from Rawalpindi and Islamabad are performing their best performances.
On the eighth day of the festival, the play Ek Mian Hoon was performed. Written by Arshad Chahal and directed by Sabir Khan. The artists who performed in the play include Shama Adil, Mehboob Ilyas, Raheel Mustafa, Tehsin Jamal, Babar Abdul Waheed, Shuja Humayun and Sabir Khan. In addition, technical assistance Riaz Siddiqui, Rizwan-ul-Zaman, and Dr. Waqar Azeem are involved.
