LDA DG reviews uplift work
LAHORE : LDA DG Tahir Farooq visited various blocks of Gulberg Scheme and monitor the ongoing development works here on Saturday.
LDA DG visited Sir Syed Road, Hali Road, College Road, C1 and D1 blocks where LDA Chief Engineer Israr Saeed and MD Wasa Ghufran Ahmed gave briefings. During briefing, LDA DG was told that beautiful and attractive tiles and pavers were being installed on the commercial corridors of Gulberg Scheme. Tahir Farooq directed the officers concerned to expedite the work. He said that development works are underway in Gulberg Scheme under the sustainable development model. He directed that the work in Gulberg Scheme should be ensured with LDA and Wasa integration. LDA DG directed the officers concerned to remove encroachments from the roads around MM Alam Road. He said that TEPA and Town Planning Wing should clear the right of way outside the commercial properties.
