ISLAMABAD: Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain has expressed anger over non-presentation of police records on the post-arrest bail applications of PTI MPA Ali Shah.
Lawyer Shubhisht Khan appeared in the court. The court expressed anger over the police not presenting the records of the cases and said the DIG, the SSP Operation and the SSP Investigation appear in the court in half an hour. “If they are not in the court within half an hour, I will decide the case. I cannot tolerate such behaviour on the part of the police. The records should have been presented.”
The court then adjourned the hearing for a while. Later, when the hearing resumed, SP Khalid Awan appeared in the court and requested that time be given until morning. He said the IO concerned was currently in Mandi Bahauddin. He will submit the records to the court. The judge said the real issue was the availability of records and adjourned the hearing until Tuesday.
