Lahore Blues crowned National U-17 champions
LAHORE: Lahore Region Blues emerged victorious in the final of the National Under-17 Cup, defeating Karachi Region Whites by 5 wickets to lift the coveted trophy.
At Multan Stadium, Karachi Region Whites, batting first, were bowled out for 135 runs in 37.2 overs. Hassan scored 33 runs, and Aun Abbas contributed 27 runs. Ibtisam Azhar and Taj Muhammad took 3 wickets each, while Arham Danish and Ali Usman Khan claimed 2 wickets each for Lahore Blues.
Lahore Blues chased the target, scoring 136 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 26.1 overs. Khawaja Hamid scored 40 runs, Naqeebullah contributed 31 runs, and Shafiullah added 29 runs. Asad Umar took 3 wickets for Karachi Whites. Taj Muhammad was named Player of the Match. Lahore Blues’ Ibtisam Azhar, with 20 wickets, was declared the Best Bowler of the Tournament.
