RAWALPINDI: Security forces, while continuing Intelligence Based Operations (IBOs), killed 10 Khwarij in Khyber district on Sunday night.
On night of February 23 and 24, security forces conducted an IBO in general area Bagh, Khyber District on reported presence of Khwarij, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement said.
During the conduct of operation, troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location, as a result of which, ten Khwarij were sent to hell. Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country, the ISPR said.
