Lahore Blues beat Karachi Whites in National U-17 Cup
LAHORE: Lahore Region Blues emerged victorious against Karachi Region Whites by 43 runs in the first match of the Super Three round of the National Under-17 Cup.
At Multan Stadium, Lahore Region Blues, batting first, posted a total of 233 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 50 overs. Arham Danish scored a solid 58 runs, followed by Naqeebullah with 46, Zain Tasleem with 37, and Khawaja Hamid with 32. Asad Umar took 3 wickets for Karachi Whites.
Chasing the target, Karachi Region Whites were bowled out for 190 runs in 47.4 overs. Abdullah Javed scored 48 runs, and Ali Sher contributed 30 runs. Ibtisam Azhar took a remarkable 5 wickets, and Naqeebullah claimed 2 wickets for Lahore Blues. Ibtisam Azhar was named Player of the Match for his outstanding bowling performance.
